Born in Newcastle, England Iain left school at 18 to study illustration at the University of Newcastle before completing a 3 year degree in landscape design. He worked initially as a designer for the national trust and teaching photography before setting up his own garden design business in the north of England.
He is also the author and illustrator of a children’s book.
Running a successful business meant there was very little time to pursue his passion for art. In April 2014 he and his wife decided to make the move to Adsubia in order to concentrate on painting and photography.
